Hayley Trapp is a musical theatre performer and creative based out of New York City. She is originally from Maryland and has loved theatre since she can remember hearing Wicked in her carseat as a child. She received her BFA in Musical theatre degree from the 2+2 program from Circle in The Square Theatre School and Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Hayley is a passionate artist that delights in offering her love through song and finds purpose on the stage connecting with audiences. Unveiling the humour and depth in every piece, Hayley loves every bit of the creative process.
Since graduating in 2025, Hayley has continued to shed a light on stage through various opportunities throughout the city. She most recently was seen on Circle in The Square Theatre’s stage performing and directing over 50+ plays as a part of a young playwriting festival where she mentored third grade students in creating their own plays. In that residency she also became a theatre teaching artist.
Other favorite credits include, “Horse Girls” as Tiffany at Theatre Row, “The Wizard of OZ” as Glinda at the Actors Temple and Westport Country Playhouse, and “Gruesome Playground Injuries” as Kayleen at Circle in The Square Theatre.
Hayley has a debut solo show upcoming at 54 Below, “The Bubbling Cabaret”. It is a tribute show that she created to honour the legacy of her younger brother, Charlie. Hayley believes that art is a mediation of love.
Outside of performing, Hayley is a huge yogi and has completed a 200 hr yoga certification. She loves staying active, writing poetry, using her oracle cards on friends, and fashion.
